As someone who values simplicity and efficiency, I was blown away by how easy it was to set up and start accepting payments with Stripe. Their intuitive dashboard makes it a breeze to navigate, and their documentation is top-notch, making integration a cinch even for someone like me who isn’t a coding expert.
Whether we’re accepting credit and debit cards, digital wallets, or even bank transfers, Stripe has us covered. And with support for over 135 currencies, we’re able to reach customers all around the globe without breaking a sweat.
As a business owner, keeping our customers’ data safe and secure is non-negotiable. And with Stripe’s advanced fraud detection tools and PCI compliance, I can sleep soundly knowing that our transactions are fully protected against any potential threats.
What really sets Stripe apart, in my opinion, is its developer-friendly API. With just a few lines of code, we were able to customize our checkout experience, implement subscription billing, and even handle complex payment flows with ease. The possibilities are truly endless with Stripe’s API, and it has allowed us to create a seamless payment experience for our customers.
Whenever we’ve had a question or run into an issue, the Stripe team has been there for us every step of the way. Their support agents are knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely invested in helping us succeed.
Stripe has been a game-changer for my businesses. If you’re looking for a payment processing solution that ticks all the boxes, look no further than Stripe.
Initially, setting up an account proved to be quite cumbersome. It took about three months of back-and-forth with their customer support team before my account was finally opened.
Unfortunately, Amazon Payment Services is quite restricted in terms of supported currencies, recipient bank account types, and accepting payments from certain countries.
While I haven’t yet utilized my account, I believe they likely prioritize security measures.
Integrating with platforms like WooCommerce or Shopify may not be as straightforward as a one-click process.
Regrettably, the customer support experience leaves much to be desired. They lack a hotline, and account managers may unexpectedly go on leave without proper handover during critical processes.
I’ve user Telr for about 3 years for one of my businesses, and while the initial approval process took about a 3 months, I’ve found their service to be consistently smooth since then. I haven’t experienced any downtime or bugs, which is a huge plus for me.
However, there’s one aspect of their service that can be a bit frustrating: their fluctuating monthly fees based on transaction volume.
Let me break it down for you. At the beginning of each month, they deduct a fixed fee from your account, let’s say 350 AED. This fee includes free transactions up to a certain limit, say 20,000 AED. But if you exceed this limit, they adjust the fee to 99 AED and start charging transaction fees on all previous transactions for that month. This can make accounting a bit of a nightmare, to say the least. Their pricing structure has remained consistent from 2015 to 2018, and even now in 2024, it remains unchanged.
Navigating their documentation proved challenging, as it lacked clarity, leading to some difficulties during setup. It took approximately two weeks to set up the account, and another month to fully activate it. Unfortunately, I wasn’t aware that recurring payments weren’t activated until a month had passed, causing inconvenience for my subscribed users.
There were limitations on accepting payments from the US and Canada, which posed restrictions on the platform’s versatility.
Paytabs’ security measures meet PCI regulations, providing a satisfactory level of protection for transactions.
For projects requiring complex transaction flows and frameworks, Paytabs may not be the most suitable solution due to limitations in API and connectivity options.
Regrettably, customer support response times were slow, with lengthy delays in receiving assistance. Communication was primarily through email, as there was no hotline available. Additionally, the ticketing system lacked efficiency and automation.
Unfortunately, the platform proved to be quite challenging to navigate, especially when it came to setting up recurring payments for one of my major projects. I had to resort to purchasing a third-party plugin to enable this feature.
Payout delays have occurred on rare occasions, but it’s only happened twice thus far.
On the bright side, the platform accepts payments from all countries and supports major credit cards like Visa, Mastercard, and Amex.
Having utilized the service for approximately a year, I can attest that it meets PCI regulations, and I’ve never encountered any security issues.
I’m pleased to report that the customer support team is highly responsive, providing clear and supportive assistance whenever needed.
The signup process is straightforward, and the dashboard and integration are user-friendly.
This company is only reliable for basic ecommerce projects, but not for more complex ones. I encountered issues when integrating with the Woocommerce subscription extension. Despite assurances of compatibility, it turned out not to support recurring payments as promised.
It took them four months to address this, causing inconvenience and loss of recurring customers due to sudden account closure without prior notice.
Unfortunately, their customer support is not responsive, with email responses taking up to two weeks, which can be frustrating for users seeking timely assistance.
My experience with this company was absolutely dreadful. They left my signup process hanging indefinitely, failing to open an account and neglecting to inform me of any issues preventing its completion. I suspect my application is still in limbo to this day. Despite having already uploaded all necessary identity documentation, I continued to receive automated emails prompting me to do so. This frustrating cycle persisted until I was forced to classify their messages as junk.
As for their customer support, it was shockingly unresponsive, never bothering to reply to any of my emails.
